As the advice of how to avoid scams and con tricks says - if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
And the prospect of a wipeout of the Labour party such that they became irrelevant and unelectable for the next 25 years (which would take me into my dotage) was just that. So if I could see it, surrounded by Special Advisors as she must be, why could Oxford educated Theresa May not see it.
She was a weak Home Secretary, failing to bar from the country those she should have. Barring some who were perfectly innocuous. Having robust powers at her disposal to strip terrorists and traitors of British citizenship had she but chosen to use them.
And she showed her poor judgment again this month in tossing away a Conservative Party majority, and a mandate for Brexit in the form of a historic referendum, for a hung parliament in an unnecessary election that nearly allowed terrorist loving, Diane Abbot loving, Marxist loving Jeremy Corbin into power.
The only good thing that I can see is that I agree with Raheem Kassam over on the Breitbart website. An alliance with the Democratic Unionist Party of Northern Ireland might remind the Conservative party of what a conservative party is supposed to look like. Traditional family values, patriotism, hard work, thrift and industry. Don't knock until you've tried it laddie.
