There is a small ray of light left after all in Formerly Great Britain.
These are not just the last voices of a generation, they are the last voices of a country and a culture; a culture that men like Peel and Disraeli and Churchill built and preserved, a country that men like Kitchener and Nelson and Montgomery fought to protect.
Those lists go on and on, much like Mr Chipping's students, but the country seems to have fallen into a dark decline.
