The value -- both real and symbolic -- of having, as a declared opponent of the islamization of Europe, one of the two remaining survivors of the White Rose, is enormous. Until this interview at NER, I knew nothing about Susanne Zeller-Hirzel. I hope the interview is widely disseminated.

What a brave and victorious lady. She deserves but would probably refuse, a great honour from the world.

Thank you, Kandra, for distributing this important message to the interested people, those who fight for freedom amd human rights.

In one of the highly-entertaining 'space operas' of Lois McMaster Bujold, the hero is told - "The reward for a job well done is ...another job".
This lady's life seems rather to prove that point.
May she be blessed and strengthened.

For starters, this should be distributed to everyone, but more education is sorely needed. I'm meeting so many people who have been convinced that Islam is a religion of peace, even when they hear about Muslim goals of killing and, indeed, realize that Muslims are the source of wars throughout the world, and honor killings. They can't get the concept or they can't believe the possibiities, just as no one talked about wht they heard during WW II. Denial? Ignorance? Disbelief out of personal discomfort?
Thank you for encouraging this wonderful survivor to come forth and tell her story to the world at this very special time in our history. Let's also encourage the growth of SIOA and FMU (Former Muslims United) to teach us all of what they know from a very intimate perspective.

There is still a window of opportunity so that history DOES NOT repeat itself. Let's disseminate and educate as many people as we can before it's too late.

I am a student at UC Berkeley, and I'm currently making a documentary on the White Rose resistance group. Thus far, I am fortunate enough to have lined up an interview with Dr. George Wittenstein; however, I would be honored to interview Mrs Susanne Zeller-Hirzel as well if she is still available for interviews. I am messaging you in hopes that you'll be able to assist me in my endeavor, seeing as you may have had contact with her...

Sad how someone who fought so bravely against Nazism
could egage in such simple minded and shameful
generalizations about Islam.Even as a non believer ,I think
some nuance and intellectual care is required in talking
about Islam-and most of the world's major religions.Such
gross generalizations!.I hope Mr.Adams
steps back and re-considers how unfortunate these kind
of remarks are .Rick Ficek,Oshawa,Canada

Update.
I have just discovered that this great and brave lady died on 4 December 2012: only four months ago.
May she rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon her.
It is a great pity that no-one, while she was alive, thought to bring her and Ayaan Hirsi Ali together for the making of a portrait (whether photographic, or done the old-fashioned way, with paint). Just call it 'Two Women'.
Imagine them side by side, conversing in a rose garden.
Two women, one young, one very old, one dark, one white, women of courage and passionate intellect; both fierce foes of tyranny.
Old Europe encouraging and being encouraged by a 'new recruit', fugitive from the darkness of Islam, who is now passionately in love with freedom and truth.
That portrait will never happen now.
