 'Palestinians'.

In other words: local Arabs in and around Israel, nearly all of them Muslim.

As for 'friends' and 'allies'.  Israel is a friend and ally - or SHOULD be viewed and treated as a friend  and ally - to free Western nations - and to others, like India, and South Sudan, and potentially to other majority-nominally-Christian African countries, and South Korea, and the Philippines, and any number of little Christian countries in the Pacific and the Caribbean.

No Infidel nation should ever fool itself into thinking that any Muslim entity at all, whether in the 'Middle East' or anywhere else, and no matter how seemingly and temporarily westernised, as Persia was under the Shah, or Turkey before Erdogan - is or can ever be in any real sense a 'friend' or an 'ally', so long as the majority of the population of that Muslim entity continue to identify themselves as Muslims.

They will smile fake smiles at us and flatter us and take our money and our goodies and then at the first opportunity, at the first sign of weakness on our part, the knife will be in our guts or between our shoulderblades.

'Peace' with the Ummah, or Mohammedan Mob, for any Infidel state, is not achieved by giving the Mob anything, nor by futile and time-wasting attempts to 'win hearts and minds', nor by 'dialogue' and 'peace processing';  it is secured by the prominent display, at all times, of a very big stick, and by the bringing down of that stick suddenly and very hard on any part of the Ummah that threatens any part of dar al Harb.
