It is hardly an exaggeration to observe that the exclusive focus of the American media these days is the new President and his alleged foibles. Substantive matters like law, national policy, war, trade, immigration and economic development are taken up, if at all, only to the extent that they can be bundled as brickbats to hurl at the President. In and of themselves these issues are ignored. For example, Mr. Trump recently directed our attention to the spike in the US murder rate, which he characterized as the highest in 47 years. Instead of reflecting on the problem of violence in our homes and on our streets, and considering ways to control such misbehavior, reporters leaped to fuss obsessively over Mr. Trump's statistics. Evidently what is important to those who fashion public opinion is not the serious challenges we face as a people, but whether in his remarks on public safety our leader may have been arithmetically imprecise, as though a presidential speech were a classroom lecture.
It doesn't concern CNN, NBC, CBS and ABC, et al., that today Chicago is as much a slaughterhouse of human beings as it is of hogs and cattle. What gets their attention is that the President's numbers are a tad askew. But in The Economist of 2/7/17 we read that "Over the past two years America has become more murderous. After steadily falling for a quarter-century, the national homicide rate jumped by 11 percent." The obsession of the media with the new President blinds them to dangerous social realities.
The daily torrent of quibbles and accusations against Mr. Trump amounts to nothing less than a full scale campaign designed to discredit and undermine the present administration, and it has the effect of encouraging those in high and low places to commit treasonous deeds. In fact, it is fairly admitted by the press that this is what it's all about, and well does it deserve the title "enemy of the people." There is unfolding before our very eyes the grossest instance of de facto sedition in modern history. Make no mistake about it: our media are engaged in a vast criminal enterprise directly proscribed by 18 USC 2384, 2385. The whole lot of those so employed should be arrested, tried and delivered to prison. Let us commend these acts and enactments to the Attorney General for his immediate review.

Indeed one hopes that all those who oppose President Trump and the Will of the People are dealt with.

Trump not interested in gun control nor is his legislative majority. Also not interested in supporting public education. His party opposes social welfare programs. Polarizes presents stronger police state as solution. Is it medias task to solve gun violence in Chicago?

So if someone questions this wigged baboon they should go to jail. Dont forget the Bill of Rights. He does not have absolute power. Grade school civics.

Would it help you to get the big picture if we write in crayon? It is not appropriate for the news media to be partisan in reporting events and discussing issues, and the drumbeat of personal attacks on the President and his family is unprofessional and abusive, creating a cartoon figure for people to demonize. A steady diet of such garbage fed to an unstable people leads inevitably to threats and violence. That is the reason we have laws on the books about what can be written converning government personnel. But even if you troubled to read those statutes it may be too late for comprehension to dawn.

18 USC 2385 in pertinent part states:
Whoever with intent to cause the overthrow or destruction of any government, prints, publishes, edits, issues, circulates, sells, distributes or publicly displays any written or printed matter advocating, advising or teaching the duty, necessity, desirability or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States by force or violence or attempts to do so; or whoever organizes or helps or attempts to organize any society, group, assembly of persons who teach, advocate or encourage the overthrow or destruction of any such government by force or violence or becomes or is a member of, or affiliates with, any such society, group, or assembly of persons, knowing the purposes thereof -- Shall be fined under the title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both . . . .
The same article applies to anyone who "seeks by force to prevent, hinder or delay the execution of any law of the United States."
It would take anyone with the intelligence of a trained chimpanzee five minutes online to discover the many outrageous individuals who threaten the safety and integrity of the President and his administration, and whose political waywardness has roots in the barrage of hostile propaganda emanating from the media outlets in question. All such persons under law are dangerous felons whose machinations are bound to lead to acts of treasonous violence, and those whose comments here reflect support for such subersions are likewise offenders under the same laws.

America does not need such Doremus Jessop like traitors in the press. Rubber truncheons and castor oil are the traditional and well tried initial methods of bringing unruly journalists to heel. Then if that does not persuade then newspapers ahould be put under the control of someone like Dr Staubmeyer and until they swear to refrain from criticising the present government.
