95% of Gaza’s water is/was contaminated, according to Kings Cross sit-in tonight

They go to Kings Cross/St Pancras stations to see the Hatchards Christmas tree with audio reading book-nooks, and what do my intrepid sources bump into? A mini pro-Palestine sit in, with all of a dozen sitters and a couple of very bored coppers.

Apparently they were inviting commuters to stop “this” just by sitting down and joining them, that  they were getting no takers and tonight (unlike other nights) trains were running to the north as usual. Which is just as well.

It is hard to read their banner but according to them, before the war 95% of water in Gaza was contaminated (if true, who’s fault is that? Who repurposed water pipes to make rockets? It wasn’t the Jooz.) 50% of child deaths are due to dirty water, then there’s something I can’t read about dehydration, and a bit more about children trapped under rubble.

From the look of these photographs I was sent it has the feel of an ad hoc student initiative, and at that point, peaceful.
