A Beating In the Paris Metro, Muslims, and the “New Jews”

Muslim spokesmen in both Europe and America have similar reactions after every terror attack by Muslims: they wallow in self-pity, claiming they are “frightened” by what Islamophobes will do to them; they claim to sense the “fear and anger” that are directed at them, blameless though they may be, for violence is perpetrated, they insist, not by real Muslims, but by those “extremists” who have been “radicalized.” For Islam, they remind us, is peaceful and tolerant; “authentic Islam,” according to Pope Francis, has “nothing to do with violence.” So dire has the position of Muslims apparently become that they are, some Muslims want us to believe, “the new Jews.”

A moment’s thought would lead us to conclude otherwise. Muslims are not like the inoffensive Jews who had done nothing against the Germans to deserve their maniacal enmity. But Muslims have not been so inoffensive. In many Muslim  countries, non-Muslims — especially Christians — are routinely humiliated, persecuted and even, at times, killed for being Unbelievers. Copts in Egypt, Assyrians and Chaldeans in Iraq, Catholics in Algeria and Pakistan, have all been killed en masse by Muslims. Since 9/11 Muslims have been responsible for more than 36,000 terror attacks in the world. In Europe alone, Muslims have launched major attacks in Madrid, Barcelona, Paris (many times), Nice, Toulouse, Tours, Magnanvile, St. Etienne du Rouvray, Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, London (many times), Manchester, Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, Wurzburg,Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, Malmö, Turku, Helsinki, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Beslan, among other places. Did the Jews do anything like that in 1930s to arouse the ire of Germans?

Muslims are not just guilty of numerous terror attacks. They have been responsible for the huge increase in rapes in Europe, especially in Sweden, France, and Germany. Women no longer go out alone at night in many Western cities, because of the fear of Muslim rapists.In the U.K., tens of thousands of British girls have had their lives ruined by the Muslim grooming gangs that passed them around – some of them as young as ten years old – like candy, for the sexual use of dozens of Muslim men.

Muslims have managed to make their largest neighborhoods into No-Go Areas, where non-Muslims, including even police and firemen, fear to tread, and where a parallel society has been created, adhering to rules set down by local clerics and criminal bosses.

Muslims have proven to be adept at taking advantage of every benefit the generous welfare states of Western Europe offer, including free or highly subsidized housing, free medical care, free education, unemployment benefits (without, in some cases, having been previously employed), family allowances, and more. They are costing their host countries billions of dollars in such benefits, unlike other immigrant groups. that quickly adjust and integrate into the host society. Most Muslims have little desire to truly integrate into the society of Unbelievers. After all, the Qur’an tells them that Muslims are “the best of peoples,” while non-Muslims are “the most vile of created beings.” Why would the “best of peoples” want to integrate into a society of “the most vile of created beings”? And those Muslims are told, as well, not to take Christians and Jews as friends, for “they are friends only with each other.” Finally, 109 Qur’anic verses command Muslims to fight, to kill, to smite at the necks of, to strike terror in the hearts of, Unbelievers. This, too, explains the extreme hostility that Muslims feel toward Infidels. They are the haters, not the hated; they are not the “new Jews” but more akin, in their murderous ideological hatred of the Other, to the old Nazis.

In mid-December, yet another example of this murderous hatred was on display. A 30-year-old Israeli, B. Yogev, was talking in the metro on the phone — in Hebrew — to his father. He was overheard by two six-foot tall men of African origin who accosted him. One of those men attacked the student, punching him repeatedly on the head, body and face. Yogev fainted on the floor of the train car.

They hit me a few times. My glasses broke and I lost consciousness,” the Israeli was quoted saying by the Ynet news site. “Luckily people helped me.”

The student, who was hospitalized for his injuries, said “it is clear to me they attacked me only because they heard I’m Israeli.”

He said he went to police after his release from the hospital but was told to return in six hours. He then reached out to Meir Habib, a prominent Jewish lawmaker in France’s National Assembly.Habib said he asked the interior minister to immediately order a police investigation into the incident.“This attack is another symptom of the new ‘daily’ anti-Semitism,” Habib said, according to Channel 12 news.

The incident comes amid a spate of anti-Semitic incidents in France, many of which were in the east of the country.

The recent surge in anti-Semitic violence and hate speech has prompted soul-searching for many in France, which has long wrestled with its history of discrimination and prejudice against Jews

The number of anti-Jewish offenses reported to police rose to 541 last year from 311 in 2017, after falling for two years.

We do not read of Muslims being attacked in this manner in the French Metro, the London Underground, the New York subway. Nor do we learn of Muslims being attacked on the streets of major European cities, as has happened repeatedly to Jews. The attackers in these incidents have almost always been Muslims, and those they attack been Jews or, in a few cases, Christians.

The Jews in the 1930s did nothing to the Germans, but were subject to diabolical persecution, hunted down, rounded up, tortured, starved, shot, gassed, burned alive, or kept alive just long enough to have ghoulish medical experiments performed on them.

Muslims today are not inoffensive, as were the Jews murdered by the Nazis. In Muslim countries, non-Muslims, especially Christians, are often humiliated, persecuted, even at times killed, for being non-Muslims. The Copts in Egypt, the Assyrians and Chaldeans in Iraq, the Catholics in Algeria and Pakistan, have all been on the receiving end of murderous Muslims. Muslims have been responsible for more than 36,000 terror attacks since 9/11.

More than a dozen Jews have been killed by Muslims in France in recent years. A young man, Ilan Halimi, was fiendishly tortured — beaten, burned, stabbed – until after three weeks he succumbed to his injuries. Two elderly Jewish ladies were murdered by Muslim neighbors; one was beaten to death and then thrown out the window, the other stabbed and then set afire; a rabbi was shot, along with three tiny children (two of them his)  in Toulouse, four Jewish shoppers at a kosher market were shot dead – and this is only a partial list. Meanwhile Jews, including rabbis, tourists, students, from the ages of  22 to 70, have been set upon by Muslims and viciously beaten up, in Paris, London, Berlin, New York City.

But still some Muslims will insist that it is they that are the “new Jews,” they who are suffering from attacks of islamophobes, they who are facing the same kinds of torment as Jews did in the past. It isn’t true.  The very worst that has happened to Muslims are the “re-education camps” in China. They are unpleasant, but not like the Nazi death camps. No Muslims have been stabbed, gassed, shot, burned alive, as were six million Jews by the Nazis. Very occasionally, a piece of bacon will be found outside a mosque; a woman in a hijab will complain of having been looked at askance – but that’s about all these  “new Jews” have had to suffer. They have not been forced to endure another Auschwitz or Treblinka.

The next time a Muslim spokesman claims that Muslims are now “the new Jews” in a bid for our sympathy, ask him if he’s heard of all the attacks on Jews by Muslims throughout Europe, or about the Muslim grooming gangs in the U.K., or the surge in rapes by Muslims in Sweden, France, and Germany. Ask him what he makes of the terror attacks by Muslims all over Europe and America. Will he admit that these might have created an atmosphere in which not everyone is delighted with the large-scale Muslim presence? And how does the odd bit of bacon placed on a mosque’s doorstep, or the “microaggression” of someone staring at a hijabbed lady, compare to what went on in Dachau, Belzec, Treblinka, Auschwitz?

No, the the Muslims cannot claim to be the “new Jews.” The most frequent kind of antisemitism today is not “far-right,” but rather “far-left” in origin – think of  Jeremy Corbyn – or, even more virulent, is the brand which Muslims have brought with them to the West, undeclared in their mental baggage, a form of antisemitism that is as old as Islam itself. It is the Qur’an which depicts the Jews — Robert Spencer  has usefully compiled the following list — “as inveterately evil and bent on destroying the wellbeing of the Muslims. They are the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82); as fabricating things and falsely ascribing them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); claiming that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); loving to listen to lies (5:41); disobeying Allah and never observing his commands (5:13); disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87); wishing evil for people and trying to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120); being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more.”  They are bent on destroying the wellbeing of Muslims. They the strongest in enmity toward Muslims. They are cursed by Allah. Muslims need know nothing more about them. Muslim antisemitism – hatred of Jews – is commanded by Allah himself.

The Muslim hatred of Jews, inculcated by the Qur’an,  is the most violent, and longest-lasting, of antisemitisms; the pathological condition of Believers is as old as Islam. It turns out, as you guessed long ago, that the “new Jews” are none other than the Jews themselves, who are having to endure another strain of the virus, that brought to the West by Muslim migrants. Will the result this time be less catastrophic for the inoffensive Jews who have contributed so much to the West? One hopes.
