Nasser got bogged down in Yemen, in 1962-63, fighting the “royalists” backed by Saudi Arabia, and the Yemenis celebrated their victory philatelically. Now other Yemenis, mostly with rifles, have fought the fabulously-armed Saudis to a standstill.
