an interview with Dr. Mordechai Nisan
by Jerry Gordon (September 2015)

I was greatly pleased to read the excellent and authoritative answers to the insightful questions asked during the interview by Jerry Gordon with Dr. Mordechai Nisan, a very knowledgeable expert on the Middle East in general, and the situation of the minorities in the Arab world, and Lebanon in particular. It was my privilege to have made his acquaintance many years ago as a student of the Middle East during a trip to Israel when we discussed the role of Syria, which at that time was making inroads into Eritrea, as well as its efforts to exert control in Lebanon. Dr. Nisan is a great resource and it is very valuable to have this most recent update on these questions of vital importance to those concerned about Israel and minorities in the Arab world. Thank you so much!
I look forward to seeking Dr. Nisan’s recent writings.
