David Gaubatz, a former USAF counterintelligence specialist, first came to our attention when he revealed in 2004 evidence of WMD sites in tunnels under the Euphrates. These suspected WMD sites in Southern Iraq (Nasiriyah area) were never exploited by the Iraq Study Group. Those disclosures were the object of an intense disinformation campaign by the ‘shadow warriors’ of the intelligence establishment. Nevertheless, his disclosures lead to a re-examination of what happened to Saddam Hussein’s WMD stockpiles and how they were disposed of prior to the Iraq War in March 2003.
Gaubatz has also become a stalwart in unearthing the Grand Jihad of the various Muslim Brotherhood Fronts in America: CAIR, the ISNA and AMC through his role in the Mapping Shariah Project.
Gaubatz, who is senior project leader of the Mapping Sharia Project, has conducted undercover investigations in more than 200 Mosques in America. He and his colleagues have found that 75% of these Mosques require adherence to strict Islamic Sharia law. There is also, according to the Mapping Sharia project findings, a high correlation with Imams who distribute Islamic terrorist materials in these radical Mosques. Gaubatz makes the comment, “that while we haven’t experienced more 9/11s, the reality is that radical Islam’s Grand Jihad has moved forward to infiltrate our government and society.”
The attempt to muzzle any criticism of Political Islam is also part of the Grand Jihad strategy by nefarious Muslim Advocacy groups like the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the American Muslim Council (AMC) and the Muslim American Society (MSA). The Justice Department is currently presenting evidence in the Dallas federal retrial of the Holy Land Foundation, a former Muslim charity, that these groups, which present themselves as civil rights organizations, are actually fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, which is the father organization of Islamic Jihad and al Qaeda. These Muslim advocacy groups, actually Muslim Brotherhood fronts in America, funneled funds to the Palestinian Arab terror group, Hamas. CAIR and ISNA have been identified as unindicted co-conspirators by the federal prosecutors. They are supporters of a seditious Grand Jihad to overthrow our Constitution and replace it with strict Sharia law.
One of the less publicized Gaubatz exploits has been his penetration of CAIR and the disclosure of confidential information regarding the Muslim Brotherhood Front’s operations, financing from foreign Middle East sources, and its internal conflicts.
A recent example of this was the disclosure of fraud committed by the CAIR’s Maryland/Virginia chapter.
A press release issued by the Mapping Sharia project on September 3, 2008 headlined “CAIR Threatens Muslims With $25,000 Penalty If They Reveal CAIR Cover-up of Morris Days’ Criminal Fraud.” The release went on to note:
Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), a self-described public interest civil rights law firm, may have engaged in criminal fraud. Mapping Sharia calls for a full investigation by the appropriate government agencies. The victims of this fraud may also be due compensation for their losses and suffering.
Reliable sources have produced solid information that Morris Days, the Manager for Civil Rights at the CAIR MD/VA chapter, who was widely publicized by CAIR as one of its civil rights attorneys, was in fact not an attorney, and failed to provide services for Muslim American clients who came to CAIR for assistance and who paid for Days’ services. Not only has CAIR not revealed the facts about Days and his fraudulent, criminal behavior, but as of yesterday, September 2, 2008, the CAIR National office in Washington, D.C. continued to post articles at its website naming Days as an attorney. This amounts to a de facto cover-up of CAIR’s involvement in this criminal affair and a perpetuation of the fraud with CAIR’s assistance.
At the same time that CAIR promoted Days as a lawyer while knowing he was not, it continued to solicit donations for its “legal” representation of Muslims in civil rights cases. Prospective plaintiffs, who may have been victimized by CAIR’s fraud in the Morris Days affair, as well as any donors to CAIR who feel they have donated to CAIR under false pretenses thinking it was a legitimate and law abiding public interest law firm, should recognize that CAIR controls an extensive real estate asset portfolio, either owned directly by CAIR or by CAIR related companies. These assets are attachable and fair game for damages claims. A list of those assets, estimated at a fair market value between $6.6 million and $10 million.
What was unusual about these allegations is that they were brought to Gaubatz and colleagues by disaffected Muslim Americans, the victims of the alleged criminal fraud.
The Mapping Sharia press release went on to reveal the extensive disaffection within CAIR:
Officials who have left their positions at CAIR in the last year include Ahmed Bedier (ex-Director, CAIR Florida chapter), Parvez Ahmed (ex-Board Chairman, CAIR national office), Khalid Iqbal (ex-Director of Operations, CAIR national office and ex-Executive Director, CAIR MD/VA, now deputy director at the ADAMS Center in Herndon, VA), and Asra Rasheed (ex-accountant at both CAIR national and CAIR MD/VA) and Morris Days, ex-Manager of Civil Rights, CAIR MD/VA. According to The Washington Times newspaper (“CAIR membership plummets,” June 11, 2007) CAIR’s membership has fallen from over 29,000 in 2000 to fewer than 1,700 in 2006.
Gaubatz currently estimates that CAIR’s membership has crawled back to approximately 5,100.
Not previously revealed is CAIR’s Strategy for 2010 (see below), created in 2007, which Gaubatz has obtained from confidential sources within the organization.
The Strategy document is revelatory as it raises questions Grand Jihad strategy.
Here are some telling excerpts:
By December 31, 2010, we will be supporting a $12,000,000 budget, $5,000,000 at national. We will have a presence covering all states, with at least 28 state chapters and 35 strategically located offices.
We will have grown to at least 60,000 members, looking to represent 75,000 people.
We will impact local Congressional districts with each chapter influencing at least two legislators through strong grass roots responses. We will focus on influencing Congressmen responsible for policy that directly impacts the American Muslim community. For example Congressmen on the judiciary, intelligence, and homeland security committees. We will develop national initiatives such as lobby day and placing Muslim interns in Congressional offices. We will work to add at least 30,000 new voter registrations.
In concert with local chapters we will sustain an ongoing media campaign to change the hearts and minds of Americans. The program(s) would be fine tuned to the sensitivities of each community. We will measure the effect of the media programs, with the goal of significantly shifting public opinion from 1.6% to 20% building on 2006’s neutral of 67% and 31.4% unfavorable.
We will launch the ‘hearts and minds” campaign jumpstarting the first production overseas. We will tap into the “new media” with contents for the young potential film makers . We will launch a formal educational initiative. We will look to educate 100 speakers, 50 writers, transform 50 Islamic centers to model outreach cultural centers, establish a scholarship for graduate students, publish points-of-reference material, initiate TV/radio shows, create ideal presentations, a national forum, and Amazon.com like sources of all published material on Islam.
CAIR trumpeted one element of the “hearts and minds” campaign, the delivery of more than 40,000 press kits to newspaper editors, radio and TV stations and electronic media outlets in a blitz distribution in late 2007. Note this report from PRWeek:
WASHINGTON: The Council on American-Islamic Relations’ (CAIR) has launched a campaign called “Beyond Stereotypes,” featuring a new publication called American Muslims: A Journalist’s Guide to Understanding Islam and Muslims, which intends to educate the media and disabuse journalists of misinformation about the religion.
The guide and the campaign were developed by the nonprofit advocacy group’s national office. The campaign’s aim is to provide the Islamic perspective on such issues as democracy, women’s rights, and “interfaith relations.”
CAIR plans to distribute the publication to as many as 40,000 editors, reporters, and producers at major media outlets across the country, as part of the broader initiative to educate the media about Islam.
There is only one problem with this Grand Jihad plan of CAIR. The money to do all this may not be there. Gaubatz estimates that more than half of CAIR’s budget comes from Middle East sources, principally Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Emirates. With the increasing revelations unearthed by David Gaubatz, Andrew Whitehead, Daniel Pipes and others, coupled with the plummeting oil prices caused by the global economic slowdown, Saudi Arabia and the Emirates may have to significantly curtail their support for CAIR. Thus, the original 2010 strategic objectives of CAIR may not be possible. For example, to grow from the current base of 5,100 CAIR members to over 60,000 members in less than two years requires a stretch of the imagination.
But Gaubatz and his team are making the leadership at CAIR nervous. He notes:
For several years former CAIR associates have provided me detailed intelligence pertaining to CAIR’s alleged criminal and/or unethical activities. CAIR’s Awad, Saylor and Hooper know I have an enormous amount of intelligence on them. The more released, the more nervous they become, the more nervous, the more they talk to my sources.
Gaubatz may be the best intelligence source for the battle against the Grand Jihad in America.
