approaching from the distance

Gazing. Nearing . . .

Dusty work boots clomping.

Patined jeans hugging blue collar thighs.

Closer . . .

His interest still vibrant,

his gait purposeful

Steady jaw of granite masculinity
He and I, each on fateful paths

Not gay, bro.

Not gay.
