What is it, precisely, about same-sex marriage that fails the smell test?

Proposition 8 – an enormously higher response, one notes, than the still solidly majoritarian support that came from the general population [52.3 percent] in passing the measure. (And the most ferociously contorted attempts by homosexual activists to explain away those numbers fell miserably flat on their face.)
