His name is “Nur Islam” – that is, “Light of Islam”. The linked report includes footage of this so-called ‘Light of Islam’ pouring petrol in a bank waiting room – full of people – and igniting it. Light of Islam, indeed. And let us all bear in mind that this man is one of those poor, poor ‘Rohingya’ Muslim ‘refugees’ we are hearing so very much about, lately.
As reported by the ABC’s Emma Younger.

“Springvale Bank Fire: CCTV Shows “Pandemonium” as Customers Flee Arson Attack”.
An arson attack by a Muslim that was most likely intended to be a mass murder, for he deliberately set the fire in such as way as to block the only obvious public exit from the building… this in a waiting-room full of people.
‘A Melbourne court has released confronting (sic: terrifying – CM) CCTV of an asylum-seeker from Myanmar (sic: “of a so-called ‘Rohingya’ Muslim “asylum seeker” from Myanmar” – CM) setting fire to a bank at Springvale, in Melbourne’s south-east, in an “act of retribution” for being kept waiting to make a withdrawal.
Ohhhh, poooooor persecuted little petal… NOT. No sympathy for him whatsoever. I am sure that plenty of Infidels in Australia – including non-Islamic refugees, such as Buddhist and Christian Karen and Chin refugees from Myanmar – have experienced ‘being kept waiting’ by their bank, or have endured any number of other irritations. But none of them – not one, ever – has gone off and bought a large container of petrol, walked into a packed waiting room, poured the petrol on the floor (choosing a spot such that the resultant blaze would block the path to the doors) and then set it on fire. – CM
‘Security vision from inside the Commonwealth Bank branch shows Nur Islam, 22, pouring petrol on the ground between the ATMs (automatic teller machines – CM) inside the front entrance and the middle of the service area.
‘He then ignites it with a cigarette lighter, as customers try to flee.
‘Islam can be seen running to the back of the bank engulfed in flames.
Spreading the fire… – CM
‘Islam, who was on a bridging visa (which I hope was cancelled the moment the news of this would-be mass-murderous attack came to the attention of authority – CM) appeared emotionless as the vision was played at the start of his short committal hearing in the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court.
‘Prosecutor Gavin Silbert QC told the hearing that the fire caused the bank to fill with smoke, creating panic and confusion.
“This created a large ball of flames preventing customers and staff from leaving the bank from the only exit point”, he said.
“Nur Islam” should be charged with attempted murder. That he himself was injured by the fire he set is irrelevant; it is possible he intended to “slay and be slain in the cause of allah”, as it says in the Quran.- CM
“In the ensuing pandemonium there was a stampede to leave the bank, with some people being trapped by a security door and others running through flames and sustaining serious injuries“.
If this “Light of Islam”, this ‘Nur Islam’ had not been allowed into Australia, then all those people would not have been injured, and three million dollars’ worth of damage would not have been done to property. Mr ‘Islam’ has been far too dangerous and expensive an importation. – CM
‘The court heard that 29 people were injured and four seriously injured in the fire which caused about $3 million worth of damage in November last year.
‘Islam suffered burns to 60 percent of his body and was in hospital for four and a half months.
All of it at Aussie Infidel expense. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t feel a particle of gratitude but, rather, regards first-world medical care from those filthy infidels, as no more than his lordly Muslim due. – CM
‘He has pleaded not guilty to 108 charges, including, intentionally causing serious injury, conduct endangering life, and criminal damage.
The charge ought to be ‘attempted mass-murder”. Because only sheer luck – the swift response by some intelligent infidel bystanders, and then the professional first-responders – prevented loss of life. – CM
‘The court was told that Islam had earlier gone to the bank on the morning of the fire to withdraw the balance of his account.
‘Mr Silbert said it appeared he was angry at the length of time he had been kept waiting (hop to it, Infidels!!! I demand my money IMMEDIATELY! – CM) and left to buy a container of petrol from a nearby service station.
How much money did he already have on his person, I wonder? How much money was in his account? – CM
“He had clearly at this time decided he was going to set fire to the Commonwealth Bank as an act of retribution for his earlier treatment”, he said.
Memo to Immigration and Foreign Affairs. If this is the way a ‘Rohingya’ Muslim feels entitled to behave, the moment that the merest perceived slight or inconvenience is experienced, then I really do not think we should import any of them. People with such a short fuse are not the kind of people we want in our society. – CM
‘Nur Islam suffered ‘catastrophic’ injuries.
I have no sympathy for him whatsoever. If he is able to walk, talk and function mentally, then once he has done time in prison for the crimes he committed on Aussie soil, he should be put on a plane with a one-way ticket to Bangladesh, hideous Muslim Bangladesh, where he belongs. – CM
‘In a police interview, Islam later admitted to buying the petrol and setting fire to the bank “in order to get back at it”.
To repeat: we don’t want people in Australia who seem to find it quite normal to think and act like this. – CM
‘Defence Barrister Barnaby Johnston told the hearing that Islam had suffered the “most serious and catastrophic injuries”.
So did the Muslim human bomb who blew himself up in Manchester not so very long ago. If someone gets injured in the course of attempting to do murder – mass murder – or at the very least, grievous bodily harm to other people, I have absolutely no sympathy for them, and I do not think that the injury they have suffered should be considered a mitigating circumstance. – CM
‘He said there was insufficient evidence Islam had intended to injure the people inside the bank (really? one must note he did not throw the petrol onto the counter and then light it; he poured it on the carpet in a location where the resulting fireball would block the only known exit from the waiting-room, which was full of customers. If he only intended to harm the bank as an institution, he could have waited till after hours and simply set fire to an- empty – building. But he chose to set the fire when the bank was full of people, and in such a way as to make it highly likely that people would be killed.) – CM
At this link you will find a description of the fire and discover that only the prompt action of bystanders saved lives from being lost:
‘But Magistrate Peter Reardon found there was enough evidence to commit Islam to stand trial on all charges.
‘He will undergo a mental health assessment in the coming weeks and will face a directions hearing in the County Court on Wednesday”.
I will be keeping an eye open for any further developments in this case. – CM
