Editorial in "The Australian" In the Wake of the Scandal of Islamised Schools in Australia, Gets It Almost Right.
For it is not ‘radicalisation’ – the “Going Jihad” of Muslims who take Islam fully to heart – but Islamisation that needs to be recognised as a problem and, having been recognised, reversed.
“Radicalisation Must Be Resisted”.
Cut to the chase, mate. Islamisation is what we need to halt; and having halted, reverse. – CM
‘Autonomy for state school princiapls in managing teaching and student behaviour is an important part of education reform, but recent problems (“problems” – understatement of the year – CM) at schools with high numbers of Muslim students in Sydney, reported exclusively by this newspaper (which, I understand, broke the story, rapidly picked up on by other outlets – CM), highlight the need for clear principles and guidelines to support school authorities in upholding the values that hold Australia together, including equality of the sexes, respect for fellow citizens, and a renunciation of violence.
Islam – as set out in its founding texts and practised both historically and today – does not admit of equality between men and women (nor between Muslims and Infidels); Islam teaches that non-Muslims qua non-Muslims are to be disrespected, humiliated, degraded, hated, and attacked; Islam is “the religion of blood and war” (Winston Churchill, in “The Story of the Malakand Field Force”, “fundamentally warlike” (Jacques Ellul, writing about jihad in his preface to Bat Yeor’s “The Decline of Eastern Christianity Under Islam”. Orthodox Muslims do not accept the legitimacy of any non-Islamic polity. Islam is not compatible with – indeed, it is implacably and fundamentally hostile toward – Australlian infidel society. And the sooner our politicians, journalists and non-Islamic religious leaders recognise this unpleasant fact and begin shaping public policy, including immigration policy, accordingly, the better off we Infidel Aussies (of all non-Islamic faiths, and of no faith) will be. – CM
‘NSW Education Minister Rob Stokes was caught flat-footed recently, when we revealed that the Hurstville Boys’ Campus of Georges River College in Sydney’s south had adopted an “agreed protocol” permitting Muslim males to decline to shake hands with females, including visitors to the school at awards ceremonies.
The school would have been better to have considered the Swiss approach to Muslim strictures on contact between unrelated males and females. – CM
‘After remaining silent about the controversy, Mr Stokes later described the protocol as ‘sexist’, which it was. But his department has stood by the protocol, insisting that schools should recognise and respect “the cultural, linguistic and religious backgrounds of all students”, to promote “an open and tolerant attitude”. Up to a point.
The problem is that the Muslim male refusal to shake a woman’s hand is a reflection of the gender apartheid that obtains within Islam, which in turn flows from the misogyny hard-wired into the founding texts. It is not just that Islam separates men from women, but that it inculcates in its males an attitude of both entitlement toward women – a right to use and abuse them, not as people but as objects, as ‘domestic animals” – and also of outright contempt. – CM
‘Creeping sharia, especially in taxpayer-funded schools where young people’s views and values are shaped and influenced, is anathema to mainstream Australians.
Indeed. So, let us get rid of Muslim “prayer rooms”, ban halal food from tuckshops, forbid the wearing of the hijab on state school campuses (whether by students or staff), and resolutely punish any Muslim students, or staff, who in any way shape or form threaten or attack non-Muslim students or staff whether on or off campus – CM.
‘In the national interest, including that of Muslims who are happy to embrace Australian values (but what percentage of Australia-resident Muslims might that be? – to the degree that they embrace non-Islamic Aussie values, to that extent they are not in fact Muslim; they run the risk of being labelled apostate by their more orthodox coreligionists – CM) it must be resisted.
I would rather put a stop, now, to all further entry of Muslims, and remove all those who have not acquired citizenship, and start thinking about how to remove those who possess an infidel-country citizenship status that is merely a tactical convenience. – CM
‘Ours is a coherent multicultural nation in which each wave of newcomers and their descendants, generally, have integrated and enriched our society, while retaining their cultural identity.
It is not possible for Muslims to integrate and at the same time to remain Muslim in practice and profession. Expecting Muslims to ‘integrate and enrich our society, while retaining their cultural identity’ is like expecting card-carrying Neo-Nazis, or openly-avowed Maoists, or card-carrying KKK members, or members of Triad or Mafioso associations, to ‘integrate’ whilst ‘retaining their cultural identity”. – CM
‘That success, however, would be undone badly, if encroaching sharia rendered particular areas, or schools, as ghettos or no-go areas, where non-Muslims felt intimidated or excluded.
Or from which they are or have been actively and aggressively driven out. Newsflash to the editor of the ‘Australian’; that horse has already bolted. The no-go areas already exist. How do you imagine that suburbs like Lakemba and Auburn have become steadily ever more Muslim in population? It is not just that Muslims have moved into them in large numbers, but that the Muslims who have moved in, have bullied and attacked and threatened and driven out non-Muslim persons who used to reside there. Paul Sheehan, in an article published in the Sydney Morning Herald (of all places!) on 13 August 2006, “Ideals Become Casualties of War”, told us exactly how it is done. I have quoted from that article before and I will quote it again.
“One of the edges of the global clash between Muslims and the rest is a bottle shop in a small and ratty shopping mall in western Sydney. The owner of the bottle shop is suffering low-level but steady harassment from his neighbours, who want him gone. He’s a Christian (and Sheehan elsewhere in the article notes that this bloke is an immigrant Arab Christian, probably Lebanese Maronite Catholic – CM) who has been told repeatedly: “This is a Muslim area,” and he is selling alcohol, which is proscribed by Islam.
“The one-hour parking zone outside the bottle shop is always occupied because local Muslims leave their cars there all day. (Observe the ‘parking jihad’, which Gavin Boby of the UK “Law and Freedom Foundation” has heard about on many occasions, from Infidels unlucky enough to live in suburbs where mosques have been erected; the Muslims park in such a manner as to make life difficult or even impossible for those infidels, who usually end up moving away, to be replaced by… Muslims. – CM) The owner has written to the local council to complain, and nothing has been done. He does not want to be identified because he fears retribution. His reaction is sensible.
“A friend of mine, Jenny D, used to live in Lakemba. She began receiving insults from people in the street, usually Muslim women wearing headscarves, and sometimes Muslim men. If she wore a short skirt, she could expect abuse or comment. She left Lakemba. Soon after, I moved to America, stayed away for 10 years, and thought nothing more of her story. But after I came back to Sydney I found Jenny’s experience had been part of a larger pattern.
“One particularly strong witness to this pattern was Judith, who managed an agency helping war widows, because she encountered “dozens” of cases where people were harassed by Muslim neighbours who wanted them gone. “It was common,” she told me. “A lot of these ladies couldn’t take it and moved out. It happened in Campsie, Belmore, Lakemba, Bankstown, Punchbowl …”.
Nota bene – PUNCHBOWL. – CM
“It was everything … throwing rubbish over the fence, screaming abuse, blocking the driveway, knocking fences down. One guy would throw coffee grains on the windows and bottles on the roof late at night … I confronted some of them, and the men would call me a lot of names, mostly in Arabic.” …”
Thus Paul Sheehan. And surely the “Australian” is aware of the other classic article about the fallout from Islamisation in Australia, fallout already more than apparent in the 1980s and 1990s; an article by a retired policeman, Tim Priest, that appeared in “Quadrant” in January-February 2004, entitled “The Rise of Middle Eastern Crime In Australia” (it should more properly have been titled, “The Rise of Muslim Crime in Australia”).

But now, back to the Islamised suburbs of Sydney, where Islam is taking over state-run schools.
“In Sydney, serious questions are being asked about Punchbowl Boys’ High School in the city’s south-west, following the removal of the school’s principal and deputy principal. One issue raised in an investigation of the school was the exclusion of female teachers from official school events such as the Year 12 graduation ceremony and presentation day.
‘The school’s student body is 70 percent Muslim, and it has a high number of Muslim teachers.
How many teachers does the school employ? How many of those teachers are Muslim, precisely? – CM
‘But at a time when Islamic militants are unleashing terror around the world, authorities should be on the alert to resist early signs of students being allowed to behave in a way that most Australians would regard as offensive – including refusing to shake hands with women.
‘No school, state or religious, should be allowed to exclude police liaison officers, or be allowed to refuse to implement deradicalisation programmes for at-risk students.
One may note that such ‘deradicalisation’ programmes are pretty much a waste of time, anyway. The only ‘deradicalisation’ that is effective is when someone leaves Islam and publicly and wholeheartedly embraces and subsequently practises a non-Muslim belief system.. as when Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Ibn Warraq and Wafa Sultan embraced atheism, and Mona Walters and Magdi Christiano Allam and Nonie Darwish embraced Christianity. It would be more cost effective to talk to people such as Rev Dr Mark Durie, to try to find ways of making sure that non-Muslim students – and staff members! – are intelligently dissuaded from even considering converting to Islam. – CM
‘No teacher, at any school, should have to endure verbal assaults and threats of beheading or violence by any students, especially those claiming to be terrorist sympathisers.
Those threats should have been reported the instant they were made, and ASIO and the AFP should have investigated the families – including extended families – and the mosques of the students that made those threats. – CM
‘Teachers’ unions should stand up for any members subjected to such behaviour.
‘And politicians must find their voices and address voters’ concerns about the problems.
Right now, if Australia as a free Infidel polity is to survive, it is up to all politicians whose electorates are not yet ‘swung’ by the Muslim bloc vote. And such politicians, those who do not have to pander to Musilms to be reelected, must band together and, as quickly as possible, work to bring about a total ban on Muslim immigration into Australia. – CM
‘Hiding such emerging, dangerous trends behind bureaucratic walls or veneers of false cultural harmony will be counter-productive in the long term”.
Not just ‘counter-productive’ but downright deadly.
The ‘Australian’, to do them credit, permitted ‘Comments’ to this Editorial. There were plenty, and they made for interesting reading.
Here’s one ‘Robert’ – “Of course these “dangerous situation, common in some European cities, has no place in Australia” but what are our leaders going to do about it when they never want to discuss this infestation within our society. If no strong action is taken soon, we will be like Britain, France, etc, where there are no-go areas and police dare not enter”. ‘M” remarked succinctly, “When did it officially become OK for a small minority following the culture of Islam to discriminate against all females in Australia?” (and 36 people upvoted this comment). ‘Ian’ observed, ‘Islam is a violent separatist political ideology. Why are we only having this problem with this one political ideology and not [with] other groups? Practically everyone else in the country seems to get along just fine. This needs to be called out for what it is… I am stunned that we even allow people into this country who openly attest to overthrowing every other political system with their own ideology...”.
‘Ivan’ observed – “Just two percent of the [Australian] population are Muslim. Yet every day they make the headlines for all the wrong reasons. What’s it going to be like when they become five percent?”, and “Gregory” replied, “In France, followers of the prophet amount to 10 percent of the population. And 70 percent of the prison population.“
‘Andrew’ said – “Dangerous precedent set by Punchbowl Boys’ High School. There is a point where a line must be drawn in the sand. The school have overstepped it. This incident only serves to highlight how unsuitable a secular western culture is, as an environment in which to live as a devout Muslim. The messages that have emanated from Islam over the last two weeks are that it’s not OK to shake a woman’s hand, but that it is OK to strike a woman “as a last resort” (this from the disgraceful Keysar Trad – CM). These messages are dangerous, archaic and misogynist. “The most feminist religion” ??? I don’t think so. It’s important to call this stuff out for what it is.”
‘Laurie’ remarked – “The most frightening thing i have ever heard about public education in NSW… the Principal a converted Muslim calls the police ‘Pigs” and nothing happens to him. Really?”
Said “Thomas” – “A Phobia is an irrational fear of something. Being apprehensive about Islam and its teachings is not a phobia. It is eminently rational and justified.” (And 23 people promptly clicked “Like!” – CM)
And then there was this, from “George” – “I had to pinch myself, when I read that students, professing to be terrorist sympathisers, have threatened to behead teachers. “No teacher, at any school, should have to endure verbal assaults, and threats of beheading, or violence, by any students, especially those claiming to be terrorist sympathisers”. Students who make those threats are already radicalised (that is: are already Going Jihad – CM). They should be excluded from our schools and our streets, and should be interned (or deported, with their families of origin, and the imams of whatever mosques their family attends – CM)…”.
Never mind about excluding from our schools those who threaten beheadings. Those whose religion teaches them (Quran 47.4) that it is appropriate to behead those who refuse to Submit to Islam must be excluded from our country. – CM
