After Charlottesville, a little reflection, a little healing, a little remembering on a beautiful Sunday morning.

With a good northeasterly wind a crow could fly from Charlottesville for 164.51 miles and poop on the beautiful small town of Galax, Virginia in a matter of five or so hours. As things got hot up in Albemarle County, down in Galax between 30-40 thousand musicians and fans were celebrating the 82nd Old Fiddler’s Convention. No shootings, no rapes, no sexual assaults, no muggings, no knifings, no beatings, no obscenities. And this for a full week. Has nothing to do with what happened in Charlottesville I guess. Or maybe everything to do with what happened in Charlottesville.
Re: GC. I’ve never forgiven him for stealing June Carter (or was it Mother Maybelle?)away from Mac Davis.
