Gunman dead after mass shooting at Orlando gay club Pulse; dozens wounded and ‘at least 40’ shots fired

This cerrtainly sounds similar to the Bataclan Paris attack.TV news is reporting the lone shooter is now dead and the police detonated a controlled explosion to knock down a wall and rescue hostages. The FBI is taking the lead in the investigation and it seems as though the shooter may have a suicide vest as well as an assault rifle and handgun. 20 dead and 42 in the hospital. Daily News:

A suspected mass shooter barricaded inside the Pulse gay club in Orlando, Fla., was found dead early Sunday, hours after gunshots erupted inside the club and wounded dozens.

Witnesses described a frantic scene outside the venue as first responders loaded the wounded into as many vehicles as possible shortly after 2 a.m. when an assailant opened fire inside the nightclub with a semi-automatic firearm.

A clubber leaving Pulse, which was celebrating “Latin Night,” said he saw another assailant shooting victims from a vehicle outside the nightclub.

“We were just leaving the club and we started hearing the shots,” clubber Anthony Torres told the Daily News. “Everyone was running and screaming.”…
