by Phyllis Chesler
AM Northwest (KATU-TV) just aired this segment with me about Requiem for a Female Serial Killer. Helen Raptis was a great interviewer, had all the right questions and clearly, she had read the book which she praised rather mightily at the end of the interview. I only wish that I’d been able to travel to Portland and Seattle—places that I’ve visited and have loved. I’ve lectured in dreamy, Brigadoon-like Ashland, and in soft rain falling on Mt. Rainier, splendid Seattle, filled with radical feminists back in the day. I lectured in Vancouver as well, took a boat to British Columbia, and got drunk on all the sugar that was served with our High Tea.
