In Paris, four more people were arrested in connection with the attacks on the Jewish market.

Note that a policewoman, who worked in police intelligence, and was a convert to Islam (and yet she was apparently allowed to continue to work in police intelligence, or did she hide her conversion?), is believed to have passed on a dossier to Amar, a friend of the mass-killer Amedy Coulibaly, who may have had the market under observation.

Here’s the relevant bit:

“Four people were killed at a Jewish supermarket by Coulibaly before he was shot dead

They [the French police] think that Amar, said to have been close to Coulibaly, may have been watching the target.

All four suspects were placed under formal investigation on Monday.

Amar’s girlfriend, a convert to Islam, is a policewoman who worked at a police intelligence centre in the Parisian suburbs.

She is believed to have looked at Amar’s police file after the January attack and sent it on to him.

She has now been suspended.[just “suspended”? Not charged with anything? Not to be sent to prison? Why?]
