Ivan Rioufol: The Teachers Of France And The Ideology That Sustains So Many

The ideology that grips so many of the corps of teachers in France, in which”the (Muslim) immigrant” has taken the place of “the worker.”  Rioufol describes new methods to silence critics of Islam. There was Roukhaya Diallo, who said she was brought  almost “to tears” by his words, an experience that  a veiled Muslim girl also apparently had while listening to a talk being givenat the University of Chicago  by Zeinab Razaoui, a female (of Muslim background), a member of Charlie Hebdo’s staff– the veiled girl was brought, again, to the “verge of tears” and simply had to leave. Oh dear — how can these people who say such bad things about Islam not have the heart to keep quiet.
