The full sentencing remarks of HHJ Rook QC are here.
Patrick Chrystys rightly noted in a monologue that Labour would not do anything to assist with a national enquiry. He briefly described the depravity of these offenses, citing one victim that “is believed to have been killed, cut up, and put in kebabs” – he is likely referring to the fourteen-year-old girl, Charlene Downes that disappeared in 2003, and for whom the accused perpetrators each received a quarter of a million pounds due to procedural malfeasance by the police during the investigation! Her fate was terrible as would be the lasting impact upon her parents and brother who would end up dying prematurely. It must surely lead to the obvious question as to how those on the Left, claiming to advocate for the rights of girls and women that are victims of abuse, can turn from such atrocities. Perhaps such self-proclaimed feminists would sooner avert their gaze rather than confront the issue of the grooming gangs, since it surely speaks of the most profound dehumanisation at the core of a certain form of culture for that of the Other. It might lead people on the Left to question their cherished beliefs given the scale of these crimes but it is somehow easier to suppress legitimate concerns about systemised and protracted episodes of child rape through Britain’s regions, and stigmatise whistleblowers, than acknowledge that their political opponents might be right, even this once, even to protect the most vulnerable of children in society! This is the most profane corruption lying at the core of Britain’s Progressive political classes.
In a new GB News article by Charlie Peters, entitled “Keir Starmer IGNORED Rotherham grooming gangs whistleblower as she battled bullying ordeal – ‘He didn’t even bother!'”, it is claimed that Jayne Senior MBE, a former Labour councillor who was elected after she worked to uncover the rape gangs atrocity in Rotherham, wrote a letter to Sir Keir Starmer about the protracted period of bullying which she received at the hands of her Labour colleagues over the matter, that may have been orchestrated from on high. Echoing Philips’ response, Starmer effectively ignored the abuse at the hands of various members of the party that he still leads:
‘Jayne Senior has opened up on how Labour’s top brass left her feeling “sidelined” and like she “wasn’t even worthy of a call, a letter or a meeting” despite her being subjected to a “despicable witch hunt” at the hands of council officials.Starmer was told that Senior “consistently faced hostility from within the Labour Party and the local authority which is Labour-controlled” over her attempts to make public the scale of the abuse. But after his office’s failure to reply came to light, the whistleblower has lamented how the now-Prime Minister “didn’t even bother to respond to my concerns”.But despite her efforts in uncovering the abuse, the Labour council was forced to apologise to her after it misled her in an investigation into her conduct at her charity. The Local Government Ombudsman found that Rotherham Council had misled Senior about the investigation and delayed its response, keeping the whistleblower in limbo for years.
Allies of Senior maintain that the investigation was a politically-motivated witch hunt launched against her after she worked to reveal the extent of the abuse in the town – and how council officials had covered it up. […]A series of Government reports revealed that at least 1,400 children – predominantly white girls – had been sexually exploited by predominantly Pakistani gangs from 1997 to 2013.This led to the resignations or removal of Rotherham Council’s entire cabinet, its leader, and the South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner between 2014 and 2015.
