Looking Askance

Within hours of the San Bernardino shootings representatives of Muslim communities came forward to maintain that they feared that their religion will be demonized and Islamophobia will spread. They claimed that the massacre was un-Islamic and urged the public not to blame Islam or Muslims.

In Los Angeles  Hussam Ayloush, an executive director at the Council on American-Islamic Relations, organized a news conference with Los Angeles Muslim leaders and the brother of suspected shooter Malik to condemn the assault.

“The Muslim community stands shoulder to shoulder with our fellow Americans in repudiating any twisted mindset that would claim to justify such sickening acts of violence,”

Faizul Khan, an Imam at the Islamic Society of the Washington Area, said he was “horrified” by the San Bernadino shooting. “Unfortunately people don’t understand that we as Muslims, we basically want to promote what is good and just for the entire humanity.” He said he feared the shooting would strengthen calls to increase surveillance on mosques.

Achraf Issam, national spokesman for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association in Silver Spring, Maryland, said it makes no more sense to say that Islam led to the San Bernardino shootings than to say Christianity led to an attack on the Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado last week by a suspect police have named as Robert Lewis Dear.

“No one should say that because this couple is Muslim that it led them to commit those acts.”  [rebuttal here]

But they did not come forward and renounce the doctrine of the supremacy of Islam – that Islam is the final word and that infidels must be made to accept the superiority of Islam – live under the suzerainty of Islam; that it must be the goal of every Muslim to make Islam dominant over every other religion – by direct force if possible by infiltration, ingratiation, deception, deceit and even terror otherwise.

Quran (3:151)“Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority”.

Quran (8:12)“I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”

Quran (9:5)“So when the sacred months have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and take them captive and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, leave their way free to them.”

It may very well be that the majority of leaders and representatives of US Muslim communities from CAIR to MSA (Muslim Students Association) – many sponsored by The Muslim Brotherhood – eschew terrorism and are even horrified and appalled that such acts are claimed by perpetrators to be done in the name of Islam. But that doesn’t mean that the agenda of making Islam the dominant force in the US over and above the US Constitution and all other religions is not a shared objective with the terrorists. It is a matter of disagreement over tactics. The Muslim Brotherhood believes such acts of terrorism set back their agenda of stealth jihad.

And need one be reminded that Islam divides the world into Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb? In renouncing terrorism as un-Islamic it becomes apparent that suicide bombings and the like are not considered acts of terrorism when directed at the enemies of Islam who have transgressed against Allah and that among the residents of Dar al-Harb are the little Satan and the big Satan.

And then there is the problem of taqiyya.

What is a rational person to make of that? Deceiving infidels regarding your ultimate intentions and pretending friendship and alliance with their goals is considered the epitome of stealth jihad. Even if US Muslim leaders stepped forward and renounced taqiyya, how is one to be assured that such itself is not an act of taqiyya?

No. Members of the Muslim faith in the US should not be blamed directly for Bernardino but it is quite rational to entertain doubts as to whether Islam uber Alles is not the ulterior goal of any given Muslim thereby implying tacit support of the intentions of the two terrorists – appearances to the contrary notwithstanding.

Let’s see. Infidels, kafirs, in the US have to live with the specter of terrorist acts by those espousing allegiance to Islam [7 major attacks in 7 years] – and the Muslim community complains about kafirs being suspicious? If we kafirs have to live with the former and go through airport security and other disruptions to our daily life, methinks the Muslim community can live with the latter. In fact I think it is quite fitting.
