From the Telegraph. When I noticed this report first thing I’m sure the authorities were saying there was no terrorist motive . . . Why do they always say this before they have time to know; they are not fooling anybody.
A man went on a stabbing spree in the centre of Melbourne on Friday after apparently setting a car alight, killing one person and bringing the city to a standstill. Police believe the deadly attack by a Somali-born Australian man was an act of terrorism, possibly designed to destroy a vehicle filled with gas cylinders in the city centre.
The man, who died after being shot by police, set a four-wheel drive on fire before stabbing three men, including one who died in hospital.
Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) claimed the attack, its propaganda channel said.”The perpetrator of the operation… in Melbourne… was an Islamic State fighter and carried out the operation… to target nationals of the coalition”
Victoria Police’s Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton said the man was known to state and federal counterterrorism agencies through his “family associations”. “His family members are certainly known to us from a terrorism perspective,” he said. “Counter-terrorism investigations under way.”
Some witnesses claimed he was yelling “Allahu akbar”, though police said this was not confirmed.

I wasn’t checking the news on Friday or Saturday – was away from the internet much of today. Was told about it only this afternoon by a relation who had heard about it.
Best thing about this story – the police shot the Mohammedan murderer and he is dead, dead, dead and gone. NO expensive trial, no expensive years of ‘prison dawa’. Dead, dead, dead. He should never have been let into Australia (nor his Somali Musilm parents) in the first place; if they had not been let in, then a delightful Italo-Australian restaurant-keeper, one Sisto Malaspina, of Pellegrini’s, would still be alive, who now is dead – murdered, stabbed to death by a damn mohammedan ghazi raider.
Nobody, but nobody, of anyone covering the attack in our Aussie media, has mentioned why it is significant that the attack was carried out on a FRIDAY. I bet the damn mohammedan mobster had been to ‘friday prayers’ at some mosque in Melbourne.
One may also note that reportedly, as the police grappled with the bastard, trying to disarm him, before they gave up on that and shot him, bystanders were shouting, ‘Just shoot him! just shoot him!” Reality is kicking in, Down Under. If you have an allahuakbaring ghazi raider in front of you – about as sensible as a rabid dog, as Churchill put it, long ago – the best course of action is to bring him down as rapidly as possible. To ‘neutralise’ him , as the Israelis have learned to do.
