More on Conrad Black’s “Stark choices for Canada”

By William Corden

Yes! Everybody I know is conscious about the environment and happy to do the small tasks required to put a halt to day to day pollution. Most of us sort our garbage, most of us take our detritus home after the picnic and most of us are aware of our environmental responsibilities.

Heck, even corporate brigands have changed their poisonous ways a bit.

None of us, not one, in the North American continent has been effected by the so-called climate crisis.

The flowers still come out on cue and there’s no ocean lapping at my front door, the lake opposite my house has frozen over 3 times in the past 5 years, after it didn’t freeze for the previous 10 years.

So all of this “Chicken Little” hysteria is so much bullshit affecting mainly tiny atolls or Arctic lands where hardly anyone lives anyways.

Another thing,  if global warming is coming, wouldn’t that make a place like (and I hate to mention such a scalding hot potato) Greenland, a fertile heaven?  but I digress.

The villain of the peace in this discussion is none other than the current pretender to the throne “Mark Carney” .

Heaven help us if he wins the leadership and heaven help us if he subsequently takes on the mantle of “Prime Minister”

His green agenda is, as Mr. Black says, just a disaster for Canada as we watch the rest of the world  leave us behind in the progress towards a better life. We choke on their fumes it would seem.

The carbon footprint policy is the biggest scam in the woke cycle and Carney (a carbon copy of Trudeau) continues to insist that it’s a major plank in the Liberal’s platform

On my last monthly gas heating bill the carbon tax was almost twice as much as the actual cost of the gas!

As for his economic policies, well you have to look no further than the current exchange rate between our dollar and the US$.. once at par it now flails around at $1.44 or so. Who was in charge when the drastic fall began ? Mark Carney that’s who!

Our economy would thrive if we managed our resources prudently and could still be kind to the overall environment none of us would have to pay a dime in income tax. But you’re not going to get that sort of enlightenment from the people in power at the moment.

And when I say “the people in power” I’m particularly referring to the embedded administration guiding the politicians….  Carney used to be one of them.

He even took his trainwreck policies to the UK where he was anointed Bank of England Governor and promptly put the UK pound into a tailspin. (he got the job supposedly because of the way that Canada had ridden out the 2008 banking crisis, which he had nothing to do with)

Vote for this guy at your peril. If you think things are bad under Trudeau and his Liberals  (and I used to admire the Liberals) then Carney will take us down and drill into the bedrock.

I shouldn’t use the words “drill” or  “bedrock”, it might give them palpitations.
