Muslim Doctor: Zionists Use Coronavirus to Distract the World From Their Scheming
by Hugh Fitzgerald
Elder of Ziyon has posted a piece about an Egyptian doctor who finds that the Jews – just see the Protocols – must be behind the coronavirus outbreak.
Egyptian Dr. Makram El Nabrawy writes a seemingly reasonable article in Vetogate, where the author cautions against believing Egyptian claims that they have devised a vaccine for the coronavirus. He recalls an embarrassing incident from 2014 when the Egyptian army claimed to have created a device that could cure hepatitis-C and AIDS without touching the patient and warns against a repeat of that stunt.
And then he reveals his crazed antisemitism.
Through my readings of the situation and the realization of what I read in the past about conspiracies that are carried out today in full detail, which were mentioned in the book “Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” I support all who work towards overcoming this ordeal, and we call upon God Almighty to lift this scourge from the country and people.
Elder of Ziyon notes that “the wonderful thing about the ‘Protocols’ is that they can be used to show that Jews are behind everything!”
In another article, in Al Watan Voice, the author looks at the possible sources of the coronavirus. Could it be a natural event? Or perhaps biological warfare that got out too soon?
No, we are told, the only theories that makes sense are the ones where Jews are behind it:
…The hypothesis that the Corona crisis is related to the Deal of the Century, which was announced by US President Donald Trump in the presence of representatives of the Organization of the Elders of Zion and Zionism in conjunction with the spread of the virus in the Chinese state of Wuhan and the transmission of infection to the rest of the world, and I think that this hypothesis is the strongest and most explanatory of this crisis…
There is no “Organization of the Elders of Zion.” This is that imaginary all-powerful organization of Jews that runs the world, according to that famous forgery of the Tsarist police, the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. One need only ask the obvious: if the Jews are as powerful as that antisemitic tract suggests, then why was it that they were unable to stop Hitler in his tracks, and prevent the murder of six million coreligionists? And why were those all-powerful Jews incapable of preventing the Arabs from repeatedly making war on them? Why has world Jewry been unable to keep the U.N. from its relentless anti-Israel campaign? These Jews don’t seem to be quite so “all-powerful” as El Nabrawy insists they are.
There is not the slightest evidence that Jews had anything to do with the first appearance of the disease in Wuhan Province, China. Most epidemiologists – sober scientists with no axe to grind — are convinced that the appearance of the coronavirus was the result of a bat-to-human transmission. Someone bought, in a “wet” market – that is, a market that sells both live and dead animals for human consumption — a bat, alive or dead, that might have transmitted the virus to another species that in turn, transmitted it to humans. China certainly believes that to have been the case; it closed all of its “wet” markets and forbade the buying, selling, or eating of any wild animal, although some of those markets have now reopened.
The hypothesis that the Corona crisis is a Zionist play directed by Masonry and the representation of the sons of the Elders of Zion and its hero, Netanyahu, the far-right leader, and interior designer Kushner, who completely disappeared from view at this stage, and no appearance or statement has been recorded since the beginning of the crisis. According to this hypothesis the aim of this play is to draw the world’s attention away from reality of what is going on in the Middle East and in the Palestinian territories and the endeavors of the Israeli occupation to complete the Zionist project and build the Greater Israel in the Middle East and the control of Zionism over the world as planned and documented in the protocols of the Elders of Zion, where it was indicated in the novel “Stones on the Chessboard”.
The corona virus spread originally from central China. If the Jews were behind the coronavirus, why did they choose China for the first outbreak? China, far from being an enemy of the Zionists, is an enemy of Islam. The Communist Chinese have forced more than a million Muslim Uighurs into “re-education camps” that attempt to dissuade them, by propaganda and by force if necessary, of their religious beliefs and practices. And why would the Zionists allow the coronavirus to spread to, and hit so hard, the United States, which is the Zionists’ best friend? Finally, why would the Elders of Zion, to whom El Nabrawy keeps referring, allow Israel itself to be so stricken by the virus? This makes no sense. But don’t expect El Nabrawy to admit that he has it wrong. Conspiracy theorists are impervious to logic.
If the coronavirus really had been a weapon of the Jews, surely they would have had it appear in the 57 Muslim countries. But so far, only one of those Muslim countries – Iran – has been hit hard by the virus. The epicenter of the disease in the United States is New York City, with its very large Jewish population. How does Dr. Makram El Nabrawy explain the role of the Elders of Zion in this distribution of the virus?
According to Nabrawy, the corona virus outbreak is progressing according to the Jews’ script: it’s a “Zionist play directed by Masonry.” Why “Masonry”? Well, because European antisemites have often connected the Jews to the Freemasons in their conspiracy theories; the two groups were seen as being in cahoots. El Nabrawy exhibits features of both versions of antisemitism – the Islamic and the European.
Now how does this coronavirus outbreak serve the Zionists? Not by killing this or that population. No, El Nabrawy has the real answer: this pandemic was concocted as a deliberate distraction. It doesn’t matter whom it strikes; the important thing is that almost the whole world has had its attention fixed on the pandemic. Meanwhile, those clever Jews, practically unobserved, can continue their Zionist project. According to this hypothesis, the aim of this “Zionist play” is to draw the world’s attention away from “the reality of what is going on in the Middle East and in the Palestinian territories and the endeavors of the Israeli occupation to complete the Zionist project and build the Greater Israel in the Middle East and the control of Zionism over the world as planned and documented in the protocols of the Elders.”
What is that “reality” that is going on in the Middle East? Right now the most important story concerns the cooperation between Israeli doctors and nurses and public health officials and Palestinian medical personnel to control the coronavirus outbreak that threatens both Israel and the Palestinian territories. Israel has no desire to distract from what is, for once, a positive story of Israeli-Palestinian cooperation. As for El Nabrawy’s claim of a Zionist plot to build “Greater Israel” – which means, in the rich fantasy world of Muslim Arabs, an Israel that extends “from the Nile to the Euphrates” — there is no evidence of such a plot. Far from trying to create a “Greater Israel,” Israel handed back, for the second time (the first was in 1956) to Egypt all of the Sinai, which it had won by force of arms during the Six-Day War. There was no attempt to hold onto the Sinai in order to have Israel extend in the west as far as the Nile (“From the Nile….”). Nor has Israel displayed any desire to extend beyond the river Jordan in the east (“….to the Euphrates”). What Israel wants is what U.N. Resolution 242 called for: “secure and recognizable borders.” That means borders that it can reasonably defend. For that to be achieved, Israel needs to hold onto, at a minimum, that part of the Golan Heights that it won in the Six-Day War; it was from the Golan that the Syrians, from 1949 to 196, rained fire and death down on the Israeli farmers far below. Never again will Israel permit such a situation; it has annexed that strip of the Golan. Israel must also control the Jordan Valley, in order to command the invasion route from the East. That is the view not only of Israel’s military, but of the American Joint Chiefs of Staff, who at President Lyndon Johnson’s request, sent a mission to Israel in 1967 to report on what, in their opinion, were the minimum territories Israel would have to retain in order to defend itself adequately. The Jordan Valley and the Golan Heights were deemed the two most important territories Israel would have to keep. Meanwhile, Makram El Nabrawy can continue to insist that the wily Jews, the cunning Zionists, are still intent on creating a Greater Israel “from the Nile to the Euphrates.” This flies in the face of all the evidence, but why should El Nabrawy care? He’s got plenty of company, especially in the Muslim Middle East.
Nor has the coronavirus outbreak distracted the world, as Dr. El Nabrawy fears, from paying attention to Israel and the Palestinians. That remains one of the most widely-covered stories in the media. Even the coronavirus has not knocked news of the Israel-Palestinian story off the front page. Most of the media has embraced an anti-Israel narrative that sees the Jewish state as a warlike little Sparta, a colonialist-settler project, built on land that “from time immemorial” had belonged to the “Palestinian people” (who, one hastens to add, only came into existence in 1967, after the Six-Day War). Three thousand years of Jewish history are thus overlooked in this imaginative retelling of history. That’s quite a feat.
Makram El Nabrawy needn’t worry. Israel may hold onto the Golan Heights, and the Jordan Valley, for defensive purposes. But the Palestinians have on their side — for offensive purposes — the BBC, CNN, NPR, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Guardian, and so many other outlets all over the world, prepared to blacken Israel’s image. It’s no contest.
