After President Trump was elected in 2016, I had high hopes that the country would come together in the center because President Trump is a centrist. Had Nancy Pelosi decided to work with President Trump, our country would have moved forward on infrastructure plans and many other projects the country desperately needs.

Instead the Speaker used every stratagem to try to remove the President from the day he took office. She was counting on the Mueller investigation to give her a reason to impeach and Mueller obligingly held off submitting his report so that “Russia collusion” hung over Trump’s head until after the midterm election and she was able to re-take the House. Then, we find out there was nothing to it all along. One would have thought that the country could breathe a sigh of relief and unify, but no. Pelosi pushed forward to impeach him anyway – on the flimsiest grounds imaginable.

This is what divided the country. Not Trump. President Trump would have been happy to work with the Democrats. Their hatred was the mirror image of their fear.

So what were they so afraid of?

The only answer I can come up with is they were deathly afraid that high-level corruption would be exposed. Trump was the Barbarian who ripped back the curtain on all manner of corruption that at first was always discounted as “proof” that Trump was “unhinged.” But Trump was always proven to be correct. He said he was spied upon during the campaign to great opprobrium – but he was right. He said the election was rigged and if the truth is allowed ever to be fully known, I believe he will be proven right again. And thus President Biden is illegitimate in actuality, not just in the fevered imaginations of a few. That is why the establishment is so desperate to sweep it under the carpet.

Hatred and fear are two sides of the same coin. Speaker Pelosi hates President Trump because she fears him – fears him so much, she is trying to impeach him again (and again on the flimsiest of pretexts) to prevent him from running in 2024.

There will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth, but Trump will be back and may possibly stage the greatest comeback in American history. The establishment Republicans will once again be relegated to irrelevance despite their fondest hopes that things will go back to the way it was during the Clinton-Bush years when our manufacturing was hollowed out for the benefit of our enemies, but those in power did just fine.

Trump has given ordinary Americans a voice and we say: a pox on both your houses. The Establishment party (Republican and Democrat divisions) wants to silence with party of the Country – led by President Turmp, but we’re not going away. The states need to clean up their election processes and then we’ll see you in 2022.
