OUCH! Charity Doesn’t Begin At Home

Do you suffer from the same handicap that I do?

Time and again, I try to focus on charitable thoughts about the whole of humanity only to be dragged down by the very people I rely on to sustain such righteousness.

The other evening, having arranged to take a phone call from a friend looking for support for a community project, I muttered to my wife, “I’m not looking forward to talking to X.”

She replied: “You could try listening.”
