Ratlines on the American Left

Once upon a time, ratlines were horizontal ropes in a ship’s rigging that allowed a sailor to scale the lines or climb a ship’s mast.  On a sinking ship, rat lines were the last refuge for rodents and unlucky tars that couldn’t swim or didn’t make it into a lifeboat. Today, rat lines are thought to be euphemisms for any desperate avenue of escape or last ditch tactics. more>>>

  1. Bravo. Couldn’t help thinking of the ‘ingspeak’ which is leaching through our rotten body politics. We actually have a Minister for Civil society and no one thinks this is funny. Even that pales besides community organiser

  2. Small comfort but Uncle Sugar may be better off than EU eunuchs for the moment. Caught between the immigrant tsunami and the riotous Left, Hamburg might be a harbinger of Christmases to come. Still, the hausfrau of globalism abides in Berlin.
