Rich Saudis Above The Law –Whether Bustard-Hunting, Or Drag-Racing, Or Slave-Holding In The West

In Western schools, with their Ferraris and Lamborghinis, they race along streets, and the road-kill is considerable, and often human. They bring their domestic slaves with them, to New York and Washington and London, tro university towns, and occasionally those slaves manage to escape, and there’s a brief mention in the paper, a few days of scandal, and then the Saudi-employed lawyers go to work, and its all covered up with sand.

And in Pakistan, a protected species of bird, the Houbara bustard, is hunted by those Saudis, hawks on hand, who for some reason find this a favorite sport. One rich Saudi, who has already killed 2,000 of the birds, has managed to re-appear — apparently having been banished for a while — to kill still more. The World Wildlife Federation — well, what can it do, what can anyone do, when rich Saudis decide to do whatever it is they want to do?

Story here.

  1. Why don’t we all dispense with the niceties and codify this imbalance. A law must be passed exempting rich Gulf Arabs from the unfair and racist inconvenience of being subject to infidel laws in infidel lands.
