Rotherham riot: Fires started and hotel damaged in ugly scenes at anti-immigration protest

There were demos set for both Sheffield and nearby Rotherham this afternoon. Antifa/SUTR turned up at Sheffield and wondered where all the protesters were. They had added their ranks to the more affected small town, which you will remember has been probably the most badly affected by the Islamic rape gangs in terms of sheer numbers and scale of neglect or cover-up by the authorities.

From the Sheffield Star.

There have been ugly scenes at an anti-immigration protest in Rotherham today.

Crowds gathered outside the Holiday Inn Express at Manvers and began chanting, hurling missiles, smashing windows and starting fires.

The hotel where the disorder broke out is used to house asylum seekers. (as they are officially called)

Missiles were hurled at the hotel initially before police officers were targeted. Bottles and bricks were among the items thrown at officers.

It is understood there are still guests inside the hotel, who can be seen through the windows.
It is believed around 500 people may have been involved today’s protest.
It is understood that the crowds have started to disperse and move away from the hotel but there is still a heavy police presence there.
Sammy Woodhouse, local woman who survived her treatment by one such gang is now a reporter for Urban scoop and she was present today.  This is her final report
It’s not very safe there, tensions are still high. The organisers of the demonstration are extremely disappointed as they wanted a peaceful protest today, however emotions and tensions got the better of people today. Some locals even saying Keir Starmer labelled them ‘far-right thugs’ so they may as well behave like far-right thugs. What an absolute mess.

Hopefully things will be peaceful overnight and we’ll see what tomorrow brings.
