School targeted with bomb threats after Muslim pupil asked to stop praying on playground

From The Sun

A SCHOOL was targeted with bomb threats after a Muslim pupil was asked to stop praying on the playground.

The state comprehensive — one of the best in the UK — has received death threats and racist abuse from parents.

Details emerged in High Court papers after a female pupil launched a legal challenge — to be heard next month — over a ban on “prayer rituals”.

Teachers had clamped down on the practice after it caused tensions in the playground.

The school, which cannot be named for legal reasons, received threatening emails and phone calls, and a black teacher was racially abused.

One read: “If you carry on disrespecting our Muslim children you will be dealt with like the filthy dog that you are.”

The school also received a bomb threat via an email, which warned: “We have planted several bombs in the building, many of which are hidden in toilets, hall rooms and classes on all floors. These are the consequences of your actions.”

Police swept the site but found nothing.

  1. Using “… filthy dog…” as an insult is a sin against Allah and His created canine. Punishment is being planned

  2. Why is praying in a schoolyard a no-no? Were the ignorant upset at moral piety?
Are pledges of loyalty to the State also forbidden, or only to God?
