Terrorist Flags off our Streets I ~ Al Quds London 2017

I have only just got in from the Al Quds march and counter demonstration. I’ll have a fuller report up later this evening. Here it is.  But while I do so, this photograph sums our concern up. The policing was done by two of London’s police forces, the Metropolitan Police who police all of greater London, and the small City of London police force, who police the City of London, and who are distinguisible by their red and white check hat trim.
I don’t know exactly who these officers were, but from the gold embroidery, their position in the police lines, their air of authority and their manner I judged them to be the senior officers present. 

The constant call from the Stand Against hate group all afternoon was “Terrorist Flags off our Streets” 

This silk Hezbullah flag led the march.

It  flew as high as possible on the longest flagpole over the speakers. And it flew over senior police officers who allowed it to do so.

Interestingly there were very few silk flags in the rest of the march. But plenty of small paper ones had been handed out, and were carried by all the children.
