The Defiant and Dangerous Dutch
By Phyllis Chesler
The Dutch government banned demonstrations but that did not stop the pro-Palestine demonstrators from carrying on. Every day after the infamous pre-planned “Jew hunt”, Dutchman and Dutchwomen have demonstrated–not against Jew hatred but rather, one more time, for “Palestine.”
It’s really so odd. Middle East Muslim Arabs colonized and converted North Africa, Central Asia, and parts of Europe. The Dutch colonized Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Suriname and Brazil, New York City, Curacao in the Caribbean. The real colonizers, both the Dutch and the Muslims, take no responsibility for their past colonial “crimes.” Instead, they scapegoat Israel which has not colonized anything, the Jews only returned to their ancestral lands as refugees from both Islam and Christianity.
Once again: The Dutch government banned demonstrations. Piffle. You cannot order Nazi-Jihadists around, especially those who think they’re performative “freedom-fighters”. Thus, large crowds gathered on November 11th, 13th, and 14th, defiantly screaming vulgar, repetitive chants: “Fu-k Netanyahu, Fu-k Israel, Free Palestine.” The apparently non-Arab leader adopted the hoarse, raging, half-strangled voice of Jihad. On November 14th, Amsterdam police arrested and relocated 260 pro-Palestine protesters from Dam Square to a park where they were permitted to carry on their menacing presence. The text below one of the videos, actually blames Maccabi supporters for provoking what was a pre-planned “Jew hunt.”
They demonstrated even as the Dutch Cabinet was discussing the Dutch-Moroccan planned Jew hunt.
I wrote the following about the Dutch Cabinet yesterday.
The Dutch Cabinet
Breaking News! The Dutch House of Representatives debated for many hours and expressed “horror and condemnation at the stalking, chasing, and mistreating of Israeli football fans.”
So far so good. At least it sounds good, right?
The Dutch Cabinet is now focused on a potential range of “strategies against anti-Semitism.” Their options include “extending the possible revocation of Dutch nationality (for) anti-Semitic violence for those with dual Dutch-Moroccan citizenship.” Morocco automatically issues citizenship to all generations of Dutch citizens who have Moroccan ancestry.
And what if Morocco refuses to accept a Moroccan citizen who has committed a major criminal and/or a serious terrorist act? Is Devil’s Island the alternative?
The Cabinet also discussed: “banning face-covering clothing at demonstrations;” “increasing the penalties for anti-Semitism;” “Banning organizations like Samidoun;” Budgeting “4.5 million euros for tackling anti-Semitism, 1.2 million of that for the security of Jewish schools.”
Ban face veils? So that cowardly bullies can be identified? I doubt that will happen. What would the penalties be? If severe enough, if actually implemented–well, we’ll see.
The Dutch government banned demonstrations–and yet, defiantly, the anti-Israel/anti-Semitic mobs continued demonstrating for days, even setting fire to a tram.
Since 2017, nearly sixty cases to “revoke Dutch passports in the interest of national security…(including a) conviction for a terrorist offense. Almost all of these decision have been challenged in court.”
What will the Cabinet really do? All of the above? Any of the above? And how quickly will such strategies be implemented? The Cabinet “needs more time…”
The Jews of Europe, the Jews of Israel do not have time. It’s only a matter of hours, perhaps days, before another Nazi-like Islamist Jew-hunt will be perpetrated in Europe.
