The Rio Olympics: One Example Of How The Media Attempts To Distort Your World View
Consider this:
“…the most decorated woman gymnast in Rio is an adopted, home-educated, Roman Catholic who prays the rosary and relies on God and His blessed Mother to help make her the best person and athlete she can be.” (The Remnant)
That’s true. Yep, it’s true.
She is an American artistic gymnast and is the 2016 Olympic individual all-around champion. She is also a three-time world all-around champion (2013–15), three-time world floor champion (2013–15), two-time world balance beam champion (2014, 2015), four-time United States national all-around champion (2013–16), and a member of the gold medal-winning American teams at the 2014 and the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, and, obviously, at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. (Wikipedia)
Her name is Simone Arianne Biles and she is, yes, she is, the most decorated woman gymnast at the Rio Olympic games. Incidentally, she was also one of the nominees for a 2016 ESPY award for Best Female Athlete.
Her achievements in her chosen discipline are almost legendary.
However, you’d hardly know that if you got your news about the Olympics from the mainstream media anywhere in the world.
The enemedia is only interested in Mohammedans wearing offensively outrageous and inappropriate outfits, or in Mohammedans being offensively bad-mannered towards other competitors over some imagined grievance or other, or in Mohammedans offensively claiming to have been put upon by some imagined oppressive rule or other, or in some second-rate Mohammedan whose only offensive, in more than one meaning of the word as it turned out, skill was to wear the deeply offensive head-bag during her competition – and that sent the media trolls into an orgasmic frenzy of liberal and meaningless verbosity, didn’t it just.
But an ordinary, extremely high-achieving, well-behaved, faithful Christian sportswoman winning a gold medal – not news. Why? Exactly because she is an ordinary, extremely high-achieving, well-behaved, faithful Christian sportswoman!
I’m sure that her country will honour her and all the other Olympic athletes that it sent to Rio. The President is bound to hold some sort of reception for them. But I’ll bet that when that happens the enemedia portray her achievements, in their usual racist way, solely as those of a black athlete, which of course she is, rather than those of an ordinary, extremely high-achieving, well-behaved, faithful Christian sportswoman. I’ll bet her Christian faith never gets a mention and I’ll bet that the headbag wearing Mohammedan loser gets many more column inches than she does.
Go figure.
