Two critical after man fires on police near Paris

A policewoman and a city employee are in a critical condition after a man fired on them with an automatic rifle outside Paris this morning. 

Police said no link has been established with yesterday’s deadly attack on the offices of magazine Charlie Hebdo.

A suspect has since been detained, a source close to the case said. The gunman was reportedly wearing a bullet-proof vest and had and automatic rifle.
