Vile Batley rapist caged after jury ‘saw through lies and denials’

Another member of a Muslim rape gang sent down. From The Examiner

A Batley man has been sentenced to 21 years in jail for rape as part of a huge investigation into sexual exploitation in West Yorkshire. Regular readers will remember the attacks on Batley Grammar school and the teacher who showed drawings of Mohammed for discussion during an RE/Social and Moral issues lesson. He is still living under a new identity.

Sajad Hussain, 40, was jailed at Leeds Crown Court on Monday, June 10, as part of a police operation investigating non-recent sexual abuse in North Kirklees. Called Operation Tourway, the investigation has been ongoing for a number of years and is looking into the sexual abuse and trafficking of eight female victims in the area between 1999 and 2012.

Now, Hussain has been jailed for raping and falsely imprisoning a then 20-year-old female between 2010 and 2011. He has also been sentenced for trafficking and aiding and abetting the rape of a then 18-year-old victim between 2008 and 2009.

As a result, Hussain has been sentenced to 21-years in prison with a five year licence period. He was found guilty following a trial last year.

This marks the 25th man to be sentenced as part of Operation Tourway. A total of 367 combined years in prison have been handed down by courts to men convicted in the operation. It sounds a lot when written like that, which is why the newspapers use that form. But as an average sentence it isn’t as high as the life imprisonment (which is more suitable) given to a white English rapist recently.  In the beginning the leaders of these mass rape ganges did receive life sentences, but over the years I believe sentencing has got more lenient.

Meanwhile, in another northern Crown Court centre a multi-handed trial for historic charges continues under such strict reporting conditions that local newspapers dare not even mention that the trial has started. So I’d better not either.
