In recent weeks I have seen a number of articles, all of which contend that now that everyone sees that there is no chance of a two state solution at present, the time has come for a discussion of alternative ways of resolving the Arab-Israeli conflict. And no doubt this is true, but I find it significant that the authors of these articles do not themselves put forward any alternatives. more>>>

The two-state “solution” has always been a chimera. With whom do you make a deal? Fatah? Hamas? One or Both? The Palestinian problem isn’t an Israeli problem. It’s an Arab/Muslim problem. Israel is caught between Islam and a hard place, a 5th column and multiple border threats. The best one-state solution is to give the malcontents the gate, expedite the removal of Muslims in much the same manner as Jew and Christian have been systematically removed from Arabia. Tough love, but real politic nonetheless.
