Whistling in the Dark: Victorian Premier and Police Dismiss as "Propaganda" Islamic State Call for Attacks in Australia

This sort of thing, for any non-Muslim Aussie who is aware of the number of murderous Muslim attacks on Infidels in France and Germany that have taken place in the wake of calls by Islamic State to carry out just such attacks, and which attacks have used precisely the methods proposed by Islamicd State, does not reassure.

‘Islamic State Call for Attacks on Specific Locations in Australia “Propaganda”, Victorian Police Say.

‘Victoria Police and Premier Daniel Andrews have dismissed as propaganda a call in an Islamic State (IS) magazine for attacks to be carried out on specific locations in Melbourne and Sydney.

Nevertheless I would advise increased awareness and security  at those – and similar – locations.  And… watch the mosques, and the Islamic schools, and the Islamic ‘bookshops’ and ‘community centres’.  Watch for odd little changes in the level and type of activity.   Of course, the thing to do would be to surprise-search the mosques, every last one, but that isn’t possible under the laws as they currently stand. – CM

‘An edition of IS’s online magazine, Rumiyah, called for terrorist sympathisers (that is, any jihad-minded Muslim; of which therre are many – CM) to wage acts of violence.  

‘Victoria Police Chief Commissioner Graham Ashton said it was the first time police had seen such threats in an IS English-language publication.

‘He said much of the article had been reprinted.

So? – CM

“What appears to be the only new content is essentially a poem making reference to a number of Australian locations”, he said.

“In that poem it seeks to get people (that is: Muslims – CM) to wreak violence in a number of suburbs in Victoria, that includes Brunswick and Broadmeadows and a specific mention of the MCG.

The MCG – Melbourne Cricket Ground – being an iconic institution that also represents a high-value target, in terms of having lots and lots of sports fans gathered together in one place whenever a game is being played.  It has been targeted before, by a group of jihadi plotters under the instigation of jihad gang boss Abdul Nacer Benbrika.  Benbrika, interviewed by the ABC in November 2005, three years prior to the discovery and thwarting of said mass-murder plot, said: “I am telling you that my religion doesn’t tolerate other religion.  It doesn’t tolerate.  The only one law which needs to be spread, it can be here or anywhere else, has to be Islam.” – CM

“It also mentions Bondi; you’ll notice all these suburbs start with a b, hence the mention of the poem, and also the SCG in Sydney.

The SCG – Sydney Cricket Ground – being another iconic location, and ‘soft target’, with many Infidel sports fans crowded together, anytime that a match is being played.  As for Bondi, besides being a ‘soft target’, with lots of unwary Infidels (including many unislamically-dressed females) both natives and tourists crowded together on its iconic beach on any sunny day, it also happens to be the home of a large percentage of Sydney’s Jewish community  I do not think that Bondi was put on the list merely because it begins with a B.  – CM

‘Chief Commissioner Ashton said Victoria Police were liaising with Australian intelligence services over the article.

‘He said the publication had also gone out in French and German (the languages of two countries with very large Mohammedan fifth columns, and within which there have already been a number of murderous Muslim attacks on non-Muslims, attacks explicitly linked, by the attackers, to Islamic State – CM) and in Indonesian languages.

Many foolish Australian infidels take holidays in Indonesia (though they mostly holiday in Hindu-majority Bali; where, nevertheless, Muslims murdered 88 Australians and many others from other non-Muslim countries, by bombing a nightclub heavily frequented by infidel tourists, in 2002).  They would be advised to go somewhere else. – CM

“The suburbs that are mentioned are substuted with local locations in those countries in those languages, as well”, he said.

So?  It doesn’t mean that they are not serious about targeting all these places. – CM

“This will continue to be assessed, but there’s nothing at this stage to suggest there’s any specific threats that we need to action immediately in relation to those particular suburbs or those sporting locations.”

“If anything arises then we’ll obviously be acting on it, but at this stage there is nothing of any concern.”

‘Chief Commissioner Ashton said an already increased police presence would be in place for Victoria’s football finals, the Royal Melbourne Show, and the Spring Racing Carnival.

‘Mr Andrews said there had been no change to the state’s threat level and people should not change their behaviour.

My advice to my fellow Aussie Infidels in Sydney and Melbourne: keep your eyes and ears open.  And if there is a mosque or other mohammedan institution in your neighbourhood, keep a close and beady eye upon it and those who frequent it.  Watch for changes in the level and type of activity and do not hesitate to report anything, anything at all that Doesn’t Feel Right.  If you happen to have Mohammedan neighbours, classmates, students, colleagues; watch them. – CM

“My message is to reasure all members of the Victorian community”, he said.  “We take every threat, every word that is published about terrorism or acts of violence against Victorians or any location in Victoria… very seriously.

“It is an evil document as it is calling upon people (sic: what ‘people’? Only Muslims.  Buddhists and Christians and Jews and Atheists are not going to rush out to kill non-Muslims in obedience to a call to arms issued by the Islamic State. – CM) to commit terrible crimes.

“It is an evil document as it is calling upon people to commit terrible crimes”. I can think of another document, or group of documents, that does just that, Mr Andrews.  To wit: the Quran, the Sira and the sahih, or authoritative, Hadiths. – CM

“We send a very clear message that we will not be intimidated by thse sorts of cowardly threats.”

‘The IS article also contained information that Melbourne man (sic: “Melbourne-resident Muslim man” – CM) Ezzit Raad, once convicted over a terror plot, had reportedly bene killed fighting for Islamic State in Syria…

‘Victoria Police would not comment on Raad.”

They should however be keeping a close and beady eye upon Raad’s wife and all other relatives and associates, and on any mosque or other Islamic organisation or institution frequented by said wife, relatives, and associates. – CM
